Responsibilities

  • Preparation, implementation and follow-up of German courses for a wide range of levels (A1-C2).
  • Creating lesson plans.
  • Grading assignments or tests.
  • Teaching the German language in a way that is tailored to the target group and expanding professional language skills
  • Individual language support: learning advice, conception and implementation
  • Advising course participants on all course-related issues and monitoring learning progress
  • Reflection and evaluation of the participants in the interdisciplinary team
  • Dealing with administrative tasks like meeting the clients and taking process notes.
  • Promote a positive and motivating learning environment.
  • Implementation of communicative and interactive teaching units.

We wish from you:

  • German at a native speaker level or C2 certified.
  • Legally eligible to work.
  • German as a foreign language (Daf, CELTA or equivalent) training is an advantage.
  • Completed studies in a foreign language or German area.
  • You already have in-depth knowledge and experience in designing professional language courses
  • You have a high level of social skills, intercultural empathy and good knowledge
  • You have a high level of responsibility and reliability
  •  Newcomers are welcome with excellent teamwork skills.
  • Enthusiastic, creative, inventive and organisational skills
  • Experience in teaching adults
  • Enthusiasm for dealing with international participants from different cultures
  • Passionate about teaching and learning, intercultural communication and meaningful work
  • Comfortable in teaching both online and in the classroom.
